There's this book published by Lucky called: "A Guide to Mastering Any Style" and it showed petite girls such as Audrey Tatou and Kirsten Dunst wearing "Gamine" clothes. Basically, there's lots of capris, ballet flats, cropped sweaters/jackets. The book's really good. Non-advisable for petite girls are pleated skirts and jeans with a particular wash style. | i am the same height as you...no pun intended, i'm asuming you have a small waist, and need some jean-jeans (not the kind that fit you from the little girls section with butterflies on them....) try jcpennys' underground soul. they look cool, and i actually found them in the 'plus' size section. old navy has cheap jeans, but don't get flare, it flares out more, and stretch when i washed them. try limited too or areopostale, even if you don't nomally shp there..they are more expensive (but better quality). all this info i got from my experience, but it only applies if you are tall in your legs. which means if you're 6', you're nomal height when you sit, and have long legs good for track. If you're tall in the waist/torso, you shouldn't be having a prob. (this means you have trouble finding shirts that cover your belly, or longer shirts would be closer to normal.) |
